The
Flight Expedition
The Flight Series is the Velocity's little sister. Sleeker,
with a steadier glide and lower profile. This series was
designed with smaller paddlers in mind. The Flight Expedition
distinguishes itself from all other kayaks in the class by being
lighter, easier to transport, more nimble on the water, and
generally the most user friendly around.
The Flight Expedition is designed as a crossover kayak for either
calm stretches of water, or exciting rapids. It is as much at home
crossing morning mist covered lakes draped in Fall's colorful
leaves as it is slicing elegantly through the white capped river
rapids.
The unique hull concept of the Flight
series plays a large
part in the overall ease of handling. The winged hull design
creates lift while gliding silently across the water surface,
reducing drag and increasing speed. The wings of the hull provide
a stable platform to ensure that most timid paddlers can enjoy the
experience as much as the most adventurous.
A
Comfortable Journey
The Flight series offers the budget oriented trek
version which lacks a front hatch and bulkhead. The Flight Expedition offers
additional outfitting options. Sealed
front and rear bulkheads create water tight compartments to keep any gear and
food dry, and provide a safe paddling environment, while the large
hatch opening allows for easy access to gear. Seating includes an
adjustable molded backrest. The standard drop skeg makes tracking
a straight line nearly effortless.

wear resistance than the best linear polyethylenes.
